Sleeping in a wardrobe…

That’s right, I’m going to sleep in a wardrobe tonight.

It’s not actually a wardobe anymore, it’s been opened up, and I put my futon mattress in there as a little seating area, but it looks so comfy that I’m just gonna sleep on it like that! I don’t care that I don’t fit in it!

Well today has been put to good use. I’ve completely sorted my room out today, and had many a good and chipper conversation with old and new friends. I’ve been pretty upbeat all day, which seems to be the done thing now. A complete turn around to how I was feeling before. I’ve realised that the thing I’ve been fighting to keep for years and thought was the only thing making me happy, was actually the only thing making me feel bad. Don’t get me wrong, I still don’t think the situation is right, but I’m so happy it’s happened.
My friend didn’t turn up, as suspected, but it didn’t bother me, I’m not letting people/things like that bother me anymore.

So the new start idea is going to be fully off to a start tomorrow, once I’m moved the rest of my belongings to my Dad’s house. I actually don’t think I can fit anymore in my bedroom though. Where the drums are going to go… I don’t know. I’m really looking forward to playing them though, it’s been so long, I think I’m getting withdrawal symptoms!

More art work is being done, which is great, and once I’m back on track with that, it’ll be time to get in touch with some graphic design companies about an internship or something alike.

I think that’s about it now, the wardrobe is calling me, so I’m going to sleep! The earliest Ive been to bed in a long time I assure you!

Well today I was meant to go to the Cinema to see Daybreakers, but the snow seems to have made everyone lose the ability to do anything.Presonally, I love the snow, and really don’t want it to melt away, but I seem to be the only person in england! It’s really made me want to move to Canada more though!

Now it’s time for a good old drunken chat, and dance

Tomorrow it’s time for a catch up with an old friend, and some films, and shockingly, drink! I just hope my friend actually turns up…

Rewind, Refresh

I never really liked the “new year, new start” saying. I never got how a different day could mean your emotions could just be scratched, and everything would start as if nothing had ever happened.

The last few days however have turned my view on that right round in a circle.I’m not going to go into detail tonight, because it’s far too late for that! I know it’s a late start to the New Year, but I’m feeling really great right now. This is where the slate wipes clean.

Although saying that, The next few “journals I’ll post will be about the past few days, or maybe even months back, there are a few things I’d like to take note of. Once I’ve cought up with myself, I intend to start some kind of “project”, a new one every few months or so. Just to track the progress and everything.

Start the morning with a Con…

Long time since I’ve done this. I always make a point to update constantly, but never actually get round to it. Good stuff!

So this morning I had to get up at about 8, and for me that’s early, as I seem to have become nocturnal. I didn’t actually fall asleep until 4.30 either, even though I went to bed at like, 12. I decided to watch Gia, and then follow it by Girl, interrupted.

I watch them both a few days ago but actually thought they were pretty good. It’s a shame though, because most of my friends like watching the “zombie movies”, or Sci-fi movies, or even just things that have a pretty intricate story line. Whilst although I like the odd bit of…Scaredom(!)… and special effects, I have grown to actually prefer the average day to day films. Although saying that, Gia and Girl, interupted aren’t exactly about everyday things, but you get the idea.

So I had to be up early this morning for some Job Centre thing, which was highly pointless. Just another oppertunity for them to say ” you should have found a job by now…By the way there are no jobs around lately”. Thanks for that one!
In order to actually keep my self awake I decided to watch The Con DVD. Oh I “lol’d”.

Here we go…

So I just got my haircut, and it feels really really short!

Anyway, I’m off to Manchester tomorrow, to see Tegan and Sara :0

Back to the old…

So the Birthday celebrations that I talked about before…

My birthday was on the Wednesday, and Tuesday night was spent with some friends at the pub (acoustic night). Lucie and I played a couple of songs again, Speak Slow and Wake up Exhausted, probably Walking With A Ghost too!

So then came the first legal drink! But I have no idea at all what it was!

And that Random Guy on the end kept talking to us about something, he was a little bit drunk! (shocking!)

My dad was the taxi for a night, so this guy waited with me (rob, I do know him) And we saw a frog. COOL!

When I got back to the Mothers, she’d waited up for me (1am-ish) And gave me this as my birthday cake…
That’s Quarter of a victoria sponge It made me laugh anyway!

And I was a bit tipsy, and woke up to a lo of Photo’s like this.. My dad looks so unhappy!

The next day I went to my Mums shop to see Rob again and to see my Sister and Niece, and Decided I really like this photo

My Sister and Rob both put their money together and got me a Crafter Acoustic Guitar.. which I’ve been on pretty much constantly since then!

And then we went out and blah blah blah

It’s been forever since I last came on here, I took loads of photos whilst out and about for here, and then never posted them! So they’re gonna get posted in the next few days,

 

Let the celebrations commence…

Well the past few days have been pretty good. Saturday I was meant to go to college to try and sort out my placement, but they were closed! So instead I spent the day with my family at the pub! It was the tug of War and the Anvil lift, Max won it last year but didn’t quite get it this year.

Monday was spent tidying my room at my Mother’s house, although I didn’t finish, and we ended up going to the shops to try and find me a birthday present. I don’t seem to get surprises anymore, which is a bit sad. I got to see my sister and niece though, and saw Rob for a while.

Now it’s Tuesday, and my I.D still hasn’t arrived. I’m hoping it gts here for tomorrow, then I’ll be able to have a birthday drink. So now I’m off to meet Rob, and then we’re going to the pub for the acoustic night, I’m playing a different song today, I’m not sure if I can even remember it! I’ll be there till midnight though, so the celebrations shall then begin!

Oops..

So I got this phone a few weeks ago, and the screen is scratched to bits.

That’s never a good thing, but with it being completely touch screen, I’m in a bit of a mess! I need to buy a decent case for it, one that’ll protect it, but also stop it from unlocking and ringing all my friends, it’s costing me a bomb.

I’m suffocating in here…

I’ve re-discovered Tegan and Sara, and I can’t stop singing Not With You, or Like O, Like, H.  Don’t get me wrong, I didn’t actually forget about them, I’ve been checking the website constantly to make sure I don’t miss any news! I really can’t wait for the album to come out, but at the same time, I’m not too sure about what I’ve seen so far.  Now I need to stop ranting, I’ll save that for a different subject blog!

So it’s Wednesday today, I guess it’s been an alright week so far. Yesterday Rob came round, and we sat and chilled out for a while, tried to go and play some basket ball, but the park was full (the fair is in town), only it’s not set up yet. Today we went to the cinema, with it being Orange Wednesday and all! We watched The Final Destination 3D, it was alright, but not as good as the others were, they seem to be going downhill with each new one that’s released. It was weird seeing nails and cars flying towards me in 3D though!

Of course it’s been raining all day, so I got in and was drenched! And now it’s time for bed. Hopefully I’ll have a decent dream tonight, not one about blisters growing and popping!
